Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist, SSD ACES, in Westborough, MA. You will drive site and regional process enhancements, benchmark performance, and coordinate with SSD Field Programs and regional teams to improve cost, quality and customer experience.

Expect 50%–80% travel in the US, mentoring leadership, and strong data-driven reviews for senior management. A Lean/Six Sigma background and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role.
• Experience in lean or six sigma methodologies for operational, process, and performance improvement projects.
• Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly benchmarking cycles to drive site level process path improvements.
• Drive selected KPIs through flagging in regional DBR/WBR and sending weekly recaps; support pilots.
• Lead a quarterly regional improvement project aligned with the GM.
• Own an annual network improvement project and participate in quarterly SSD ACES kaizens.
• Develop trust relationships with OMs, SLs, and GMs in the region.
• Mentor leaders from the region and support interviewing talent when possible.
