Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Power Market Sector Leader to guide growth across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Delaware. You will lead power generation, delivery, and related services while building client relationships and a seller-doer culture.

The role emphasizes leadership, recruitment, and cross‑functional collaboration with regional leaders to meet growth targets and deliver high‑quality projects for utilities, data centers, and energy developers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning or related field is required.
At least 10 years of industry experience.
Experience developing and managing strategic marketing programs for planning/engineering services.
Experience managing a wide range of client relationships and pursuing programs and projects.
Experience developing staff and working with industry associations.
Ability to collaborate with Regional Market Sector Directors, Market Sector Directors and others to guide HDR’s power program.

Responsibilities

Grow, monitor, and participate in HDR’s portfolio of Power services across PA, OH, WV and DE.
Identify opportunities to deliver design, consulting, advisory, owners engineering, asset management and related services.
Establish external teaming relationships to support program growth and represent HDR in industry associations.
Provide leadership and project management to ensure staffing and quality, serving as Principal-in-Charge or Project Manager.
Coordinate with Business Group Leaders to align resources with workload and marketing efforts.
Drive client growth and staff recruitment to execute business development plans.
Coordinate with local operations and leadership to support work sharing and growth.
Lead and motivate staff to meet growth goals.
