Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Pharmacist license.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency plus 1 year of pharmacist experience.
• 2 years of pharmacist experience.
• 1 year of leadership experience plus 1 year of pharmacist experience.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy department operations.
• Maintain management controls to ensure efficient, effective, and high-quality services.
• Lead and support pharmacy employees.
• Oversee departmental activities, functions, and costs.
• Prepare and dispense medications.
• Assess patients’ clinical status and support appropriate drug therapy.
• Provide medication information to physicians and the medical team.
• Educate patients regarding medications and their use.
