Job summary

Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Applications Manager to lead a team of analysts responsible for Epic applications in the Pharmacy and related functions. You will manage support, configuration, workflows, data conversions, data validation, and reporting to ensure reliable operations and performance.

The role requires leadership in a healthcare pharmacy setting and collaboration with end users, the Epic team, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred; strong leadership within matrix teams.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare pharmacy operations.
• Detailed experience with Pharmacy workflow.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare industry.
• Information technology experience preferred.
• Prior experience implementing Epic Systems preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on-time and on-budget.

Responsibilities

• Manages analysts for support and optimization of Epic applications (Pharmacy and integrated functions).
• Oversees support, issues, configuration, workflows, data conversions, data validation, and reports.
• Supports business operations during build decisions and prioritizes requested changes.
• Manages software updates and standardization of naming conventions.
• Maintains business relationships among end users, third parties, and the Epic implementation team.
