Job summary

Physicians Regional Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the inpatient pharmacy, ensure safe and efficient pharmaceutical care, and lead a dedicated team of pharmacists and technicians.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication use, support patient outcomes, and drive quality improvements within the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a closely related field.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations including dispensing, inventory, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and supervise pharmacists and technicians to enhance performance.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to implement effective pharmaceutical care plans.
• Establish quality controls and corrective actions to ensure patient safety.
• Develop, review, and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource management.
• Provide ongoing education on medication management and safety.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary projects.
• Perform duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.
• Comply with all policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
