Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Market People Leader to oversee the Mid‑Atlantic region. You will partner with regional leadership to translate people strategy into scalable HR programs, drive workforce planning, and shape leadership development across multiple stores and formats.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of multi‑unit HRBP experience in QSR, food & beverage, hospitality, or retail, with a proven ability to balance strategic influence with hands‑on execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HRBP experience with multi‑unit operations in QSR, food & beverage, hospitality, or retail.
• Ability to translate people strategy into scalable initiatives with cross‑functional influence.
• Strong analytical mindset, data literacy, and knowledge of employment laws across states.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic HR partner to Regional VPs and Market Operations Directors across multiple markets.
• Translate workforce strategy into programs that address leadership capability, retention, and culture.
• Diagnose organizational opportunities and implement scalable HR interventions.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR programs including performance cycles, compensation reviews, and org design changes.
• Partner with field leaders to design workforce plans and bench development for multi‑unit operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements across regions.
