Job summary

Packaging Exchange is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to own operating performance across multiple branches in the region. You will lead Branch Operations Managers and General Managers, driving safety, service, and cost control while reporting to the Director of Operations.

You will coach leaders, optimize staffing and workflows, monitor KPIs, and support new branch launches. This role requires travel up to 50% in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or related field.
• Experience managing multi-site operations across multiple states or territories.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Financial acumen, including budget creation and expense control.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Moderate travel required, up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple branch Operations Managers and General Managers within a defined geographic region to ensure operational excellence across all facilities.
• Drive consistent implementation of company-wide policies, safety programs, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Regularly review and analyze KPIs for each branch, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for branch Operations Managers and General Managers.
• Serve as the primary liaison between branch operations and the Director of Operations, ensuring strategic alignment and effective communication.
• Partner with branch managers to optimize staffing, workflows, and cost control while maintaining customer service.
• Conduct routine site visits to assess performance, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Support new branch launches, expansions, and process rollouts within the region.
• Assist in managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting for regional financial performance.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the region.
