Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company seeks an Area Operations Manager to oversee multiple branch locations within a Super District. You will translate strategy into executable regional plans, lead Branch Managers, and drive safety, service, inventory, and financial performance.

You will partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR to ensure capabilities support revenue growth and customer commitments, while building a high-performing leadership team and a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience.
5-7 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
Experience directing multi-location operations or regional branch networks.
Strong financial acumen with budgets and performance metrics.
Proven ability to develop leaders and build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Branch Managers and regional operational teams across the district.
Set clear performance expectations and standard operating procedures across locations.
Translate corporate strategy into regional execution plans and budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT).
Drive regional financial performance including revenue, gross margin, and working capital.
Oversee regional inventory strategy and partner with Supply Chain to improve forecasting and fill rates.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
