Job summary

Cathay Bank is seeking a Regional Operations Officer (Project Management) in Irvine. The role involves traveling to branches to cover Customer Service & Sales Manager duties during absences and supporting branch operations across the region.

Responsibilities include supervising operations staff, preparing reports for audits, training branch employees, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining branch integrity.

Qualifications

• College degree with business classes preferred.
• 2–4 years branch operations experience.
• Bilingual (English and Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travels to branches and assumes Customer Service & Sales Manager regular work functions in the absence of the branch's Customer Service & Sales Manager.
• Completes and follows through on all assignments or projects to meet deadlines.
• Ensure daily review of risk management reports.
• Utilizes good judgment to ensure that any potential loss situation is given visibility with senior management.
• Provide consistent quality customer service.
• Identifies sales opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services and make referrals.
• Safety and/or Security Officer for the branch when necessary.
