Cathay Bank in California is seeking a seasoned Regional Manager to lead business development, client service, and operations for the assigned region. You will act as the senior banking presence, shaping growth and profitability through performance forecasts and strategic direction.

You will manage the Regional Manager, Branch Management, and Branch Administration staff, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and high-quality client service across branches.

Formación

• 7–10 years of banking experience in a similar capacity.
• Solid retail banking experience with knowledge of commercial lending.
• Management/leadership experience.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of branch banking, operations, policies, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, manage, and evaluate plans, objectives, and financial performance for the assigned region.
• Oversee regional operations, risk management, and compliance with bank standards and regulatory requirements.
• Direct marketing and sales programs to attain realistic targets across the region.
• Ensure service quality programs to evaluate client expectations and satisfaction.
• Contribute to bank policy discussions related to Retail Banking and ensure policy interpretation and compliance.
• Lead staff development, coaching, and succession planning within the region.
• Oversee CRA efforts and budget-related planning for the region.
