Job summary

YAI Network in New York seeks a senior Nursing Director to provide direction, clinical oversight and staffing for two or more regions, ensuring safe, quality nursing services and medication administration.

You will lead interdisciplinary teams, oversee supervisor nurses, monitor compliance with OPWDD and HIPAA, participate in governance committees, and maintain on-site presence to support plans of care and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and valid NY RN license with current BLS.
• 5 years nursing experience including I/DD and 2 years supervisory/administrative experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; knowledge of applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing operations oversight across regions and systems, ensuring safe, quality care.
• Lead nursing staff, manage caseloads, and ensure staffing coverage and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD, HIPAA and other regulatory requirements; participate in committees.
