Job summary

YAI in Queens, NY is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee nursing services for assigned regions, ensuring safe medication administration and person-centered care. You will lead RNs and LPNs, collaborate with regional leadership, and monitor clinical performance across programs.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and BSN with several years of nursing leadership experience in disability services or healthcare.

Qualifications

Active RN license and BLS certification.
Minimum BSN with 3 years of nursing experience, preferably with I/DD.
Strong leadership and supervision skills.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day nursing services and medication administration for assigned caseload.
Provide clinical leadership to program staff and participate in regional leadership meetings.
Ensure compliance with nursing regulations and standards across assigned programs.
Directly supervise RNs and LPNs, including performance management and development plans.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and coverage in collaboration with HR and nursing leadership.
Monitor eMAR documentation and ensure timely, person-centered care records.
Travel to programs regionally to observe, assess, and support nursing care as needed.
