Job summary

YAI is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee nursing-related services for an assigned region, ensuring safe medication administration and high-quality care. The role directs RNs and LPNs, collaborates with leadership, and ensures regulatory compliance across programs.

You will travel to Nassau/Suffolk areas, participate in regional meetings, and support person-centered nursing plans while maintaining documentation and coordinating with HR and program teams.

Qualifications

• RN license active in NY or NJ.
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN degree with at least 3 years nursing experience, ideally with I/DD.
• Willingness to travel across regions and between programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services and medication administration for assigned caseload.
• Supervise RNs and LPNs; provide clinical support to staff.
• Ensure compliance with nursing regulations and standards of care.
• Participate in hiring and staffing for nursing roles.
• Travel to programs and coordinate with leadership teams.
• Maintain documentation in eMAR and other systems.
• Provide training and coaching to nursing staff.
