Job summary
YAI is seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse to oversee day-to-day nursing services across assigned caseload in the Brooklyn region. The role leads RNs and LPNs, ensures safe medication administration, and aligns care with person-centered plans while coordinating with regional leadership and HR for staffing and training.
Required BSN, active RN license in NY/NJ, BLS, and 3 years of nursing experience, preferably with I/DD.
Qualifications
- Valid, active RN license in NY or NJ; and current BLS certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Three years nursing experience in healthcare settings; I/DD experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; supervisory ability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct nursing services for assigned caseload.
- Supervise RNs and LPNs; ensure medication administration and nursing plans are followed.
- Collaborate with regional leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor documentation in EMR/eMAR and ensure timely, accurate records.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training; participate in on-call coverage.
