The role requires 8+ years in pharma/healthcare with payer experience, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from a 4-year college or university.
• 8+ years' experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams, including payer/reimbursement engagement.
• Experience launching specialty or biologic therapies; familiarity with specialty pharmacy and Buy & Bill environments.
• Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem (within 5 years) and payer/reimbursement dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact accounts including large academic and integrated health systems.
• Robust business acumen and expertise in technology and digital engagement.
• Excellent communication, active listening, relationship-building and strategic thinking; ability to build trust across organizational levels.
• Residence within the territory or within ~50 miles of the territory border; travel 60-80%; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of Novartis Neuromuscular brands while upholding ethics and compliance.
• Lead account management across the patient journey from enrollment through infusion.
• Educate key stakeholders on clinical data to translate into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize site workflow from enrollment to reimbursement and distribution.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hospital staff and access stakeholders to address insurance requirements.
• Maintain deep knowledge of payer policies and access procedures to ensure timely product availability.
• Assess territory dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion of treatment networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on site readiness, patient onboarding, product delivery, and reimbursement.
• Support end-to-end prescription journey with coordination and customer experience.
