Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Regional Clinical Sales Specialist to support the Oakland/Walnut Creek, CA territory. You will independently guide surgeons in the OR, ensuring the correct equipment is available, functioning, and billed correctly.

You will travel frequently to hospitals, provide clinical and logistical expertise, and collaborate with sales consultants and teams to drive DPS sales and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; plus professional experience.
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification with 2+ years experience acceptable.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience or military transition accepted.

Responsibilities

• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical and technical support for orthopedic cases.
• Attend surgeries as sole company representative to ensure proper equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot issues, respond to physician needs, and manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategy teams to improve service and solutions.
• Provide Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment across the territory to ensure availability.
• Ensure promotional materials meet quality standards and that DePuy Synthes offerings align with policies.
