Job summary

Johnson & Johnson DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics is seeking a Regional Clinical Sales Specialist to support Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas. You will guide surgeons in the OR, ensure the proper equipment is available, and manage billing and logistics to advance our orthopedic products.

The role requires strong clinical knowledge, customer-facing skills, and willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. Located in the Sacramento region or willing to relocate for the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required or medical certification with relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in clinical sales or related field.
• Military transition candidates are considered.
• Ability to travel within the United States, including overnight or weekend travel.

Responsibilities

• Guide surgeons in the operating room with clinical and technical support.
• Support DPS sales by representing the company at surgeries and ensuring equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot, respond to physician needs, manage hospital billing and purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and account teams; prepare reports as needed.
• Provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Maintain, track, and deploy equipment across the assigned region.
• Ensure promotional materials meet quality standards and services meet company offerings.
• Provide logistical support by moving instruments, implants, and equipment between reps and hospitals.
