Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support client development and outreach in Hawaii. You will craft proposal content, design collateral, and coordinate marketing materials for regional initiatives, with opportunities to visit jobsites and participate in community outreach.

You will work with senior staff to create compelling materials, manage databases, and help develop social media content and events that highlight the company’s capabilities in the Hawaii region.

Qualifications

• BA degree in marketing or related field.
• 4 years of marketing experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and pay close attention to details.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient research skills and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in RFQ and qualification responses, ensuring accurate and visually appealing content.
• Create marketing materials including qualification packages, ads, displays, and brochures.
• Maintain project and proposal data in company databases and on-site data collection.
• Collaborate with senior technical staff to develop and format proposal materials.
• Design promotional materials and advertisements for clients and publications.
• Organize project and staff data, including photography, ensuring assets are up to date.
• Develop award submissions and coordinate public relations, including social media.
