Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join the Project Development team. This role supports a wide range of marketing functions, primarily through proposals, qualifications, award submittals, and presentation materials.

The position also contributes to social media content, milestone coordination, site visits, and community volunteer efforts, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced marketing team in the Mid South region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or related field.
• 1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and pay close attention to details.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset and ability to work independently, within teams, and across departments.
• Ability to develop and foster professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFQs and RFPs, including presentations and interviews; write, edit, and format content for proposals and marketing materials.
• Create marketing materials including informational documents, displays, and brochures.
• Ensure proposals clearly communicate theme, reflect scope and qualifications, meet requirements, and are high quality.
• Help maintain project and employee data, including photography, updating databases and visiting jobsites as needed.
• Generate reports and manage information within internal systems to support marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership and project teams on presentations, tradeshows and events.
• Keep the Project Development team informed on milestones and PR activities; support approvals.
• Coordinate and write industry award submittals.
• Engage with local industry groups and nonprofits as an active member.
