Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Marketing Communications Lead to grow the company’s regional presence through client development, marketing outreach, and project procurement. This role will develop and design proposal content, RFQ/RFP responses, and presentations, supporting new work.

You will collaborate with the Proposal Manager and regional leadership to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and timely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
• 5 years of architecture, engineering, and construction experience
• Passion for storytelling and creating visual layouts
• Strong Adobe InDesign capabilities and familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Interest in building people management experience
• 3+ years’ experience with CRM software
• Highly organized and superb task management skills
• Excellent multitasking capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office Suite competency

Responsibilities

• Leads/Champions RFQs and RFPs efforts with complex design‑build pursuits
• Collaborates with senior technical staff to prepare proposals and marketing materials
• Prepares presentation materials and supports client interviews
• Leads kickoff and capture planning discussions
• Tracks communications with local and remote partners to meet deadlines
• Oversees input into databases with project and proposal information
• Mentors coordinators within proposal focus areas
