Job summary

Ecolab’s Market Sales Representative in the DC - Baltimore market drives growth by using consultative selling to expand within existing accounts and win new business. You’ll own customer relationships, communicate Ecolab’s total value in cleaning, sanitation, safety, quality and operations, and work with internal teams to deliver premier service.

RESPONSIBILITIES include building a strong pipeline, leveraging market knowledge to uncover opportunities, and maintaining multi-level relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2 years of sales experience required
• Experience in broadline distribution, customer service, foodservice, hospitality, or a related industry
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license
• Background check and drug screens required for offers
• No immigration sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Drive growth across assigned accounts and geography by meeting or exceeding targets
• Identify new competitive opportunities within the territory using market knowledge
• Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM and digital tools
• Communicate total value to customers and grow solutions within existing accounts
• Provide industry expertise in cleaning, sanitation, safety, quality and operations
• Partner with service and internal teams to deliver best-in-class value
• Establish strong relationships with customers and industry partners
• Activate and close franchise opportunities with corporate accounts
• Ensure accounts meet Ecolab Brand Standards
