Job summary

1 st MidAmerica is seeking a Regional Manager to direct the delivery of services to members through designated Branch Managers and operations staff, and to achieve organizational branch goals in Bethalto, IL with travel to other locations.

This role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to build and expand member relationships while contributing to the community presence of the credit union across its branches.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six+ years of similar or related experience.
• A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing preferred, but not required.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintains highly motivated and well-trained staff while maintaining effective employee relations.
• Directs and monitors branch operations, through assigned subordinate managers, to ensure staffing and achievement of goals.
• Ensures compliance with credit union membership, operational and employee policies/procedures.
• Makes recommendations on new policies and procedures and ensures branches comply with laws and regulations.
• Drives performance results through leadership and high-quality sales and service behaviors.
• Maintains a high level of quality service for members and educates members on products and services.
• Participates in establishing the annual operational budget.
• Builds the credit union's presence in the community and develops new member relationships.
• Assists VP of Branch Operations on projects as assigned.
