Job summary

First Mid BancShares, Inc. is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee operations and drive sales in a larger volume banking unit in Illinois. You will lead a team to deliver an exceptional customer and staff experience, while ensuring compliance and effective budgeting.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, staff training, and collaboration with Market Managers to meet corporate goals and maintain high service standards. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate degree with 3+ years of sales management experience acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of retail sales and customer service experience.
• Proven track record driving sales and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and sales function of larger volume branch or stand-alone banking centers in the individual market areas.
• Lead team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience.
• Manage staff scheduling and training to optimize branch performance.
• Cross-sell and expand deposits, loans, and other bank products.
• Communicate procedural changes and ensure compliance with policies.
