Job summary

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee multiple affordable housing communities in the Santa Rosa area.

The role focuses on LIHTC and USDA-RD properties, ensuring compliance, performance, and resident satisfaction while leading on-site managers. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of regional multifamily management experience, strong leadership, budgeting, and a deep knowledge of affordable housing regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in multifamily property management in a regional role.
• Experience overseeing USDA-RD & LIHTC communities.
• Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance requirements.
• Proven track record managing leasing, resident relations, and operations.
• Excellent leadership and ability to mentor on-site teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple affordable housing communities, including Section 8 and LIHTC.
• Manage budgets for each property and capital improvement plans.
• Supervise and train property managers and on-site teams.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws and HUD requirements.
• Coordinate with residents, staff, and government agencies.
• Monitor occupancy and work with leasing teams to maximize occupancy.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term capital planning.
• Respond to resident and staff concerns with timely solutions.
