Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Central to lead payer strategy across the Central territory.

This remote, field-based role covers multiple states and demands building senior-level relationships with regional payers, Medicaid programs, and IDNs. You will develop account plans, ensure launch readiness and appropriate coverage, and collaborate with Medical, HEOR, Marketing, and Pricing teams to optimize access for BridgeBio's portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience, including ≥5 years in regional payer account management.
• Ability to understand and present complex clinical data for approved indications.
• Solid understanding of the Payer sector, including knowledge of Medical/Pharmacy Benefit Designs and Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regional payers (FFS and Medicaid) and IDNs.
• Own account strategy for the Central portfolio, coordinating with Blue Cross/Blue Shield networks and regional payers.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans to support rapid access for approved products.
• Communicate payer policy changes to field teams and maintain knowledge of Medicaid policy and market dynamics.
• Collaborate across Medical, HEOR, Marketing, Trade, Pricing and Contracting, Field Reimbursement, Sales, and Operations to tell the value story and resolve access issues.
• Travel 50-60%.
