Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across regional facilities. You will lead technicians, ensure safe, efficient operations, and maintain licenses and permits.

The role involves significant travel and collaboration with store managers and vendors. Minimum qualifications include a engineering/construction management degree and 3–5 years in facilities or related fields, plus relevant certifications such as EPA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field, with 3 years’ experience in facilities management or 5 years’ related experience.
• Experience with building maintenance, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others; collaborate with store managers and vendors.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications for regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across facilities within a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians; ensure safe, efficient and sustainable operations.
• Travel approximately 50% or more within the region.
• Engage with Store Managers, Facility Services Leadership and contractors as needed.
• Handle reporting, analytics, licenses, permits, and inspections for compliance.
• Participate in training on regulatory requirements and site inspections.
