Job summary

Walmart seeks a dynamic Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead regional maintenance programs and drive operational efficiency across multiple sites. You will supervise technicians, coordinate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership, and ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality service levels.

The role emphasizes travel of ~50% or more within the region and interaction with vendors, inspections, and reporting to optimize facility performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, construction management, or mechanical maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification, PMP, Lean Six Sigma are preferred soft qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities in a regional area.
• Lead a team of technicians; collaborate with store managers and leadership.
• Manage vendors/contractors; ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Handle reporting, scheduling inspections, and permit coordination.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses and regulatory training.
