Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dynamic Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance across a regional portfolio. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure our buildings operate safely and efficiently, and collaborate with store managers to address facility service needs.

The role requires 50% travel within the region, budgeting, vendor coordination, reporting, and active recruitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region.
• Directly leads technicians that conduct hands‑on maintenance at the facilities.
• Leads, motivates, and develops technicians.
• Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs.
• budgeting, reporting and analytics
• Recruiting and hiring of technicians.
• Oversees budget and workload.
