Job summary

ERM is hiring Land Agents to support electric transmission and distribution projects in Massachusetts, New York and Connecticut. The role covers land rights acquisition, licenses, leases and permits for project facilities.

It is a full-time, limited-term position (12 months, extendable) with regional travel and a base pay range indicated in the posting. The position demands at least a high school diploma, 3+ years ROW experience, and a real estate license (preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, real estate knowledge valued.
• Active real estate license preferred or ability to obtain; notary within 30 days.
• IRWA membership is a plus; strong PC, GIS and data skills.
• Ability to travel regionally and communicate professionally in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with land owners and designees on land rights and agreements.
• Settle complex damage claims related to construction activities.
• Search records to establish ownership and interests.
• Assist in establishing fair market values for acquisitions.
• Draft documents for rights of entry, deeds, easements, leases and permits.
• Comply with health, safety and project policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
