Job summary

ERM is hiring Land Agents in Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut to support electric transmission and distribution projects. This full-time limited-term role covers land acquisition, licenses, leases, permits, and related documents for project facilities.

The position requires navigating complex negotiations, assessing property values, and preparing entry and right-of-way documents. A real estate license and Notary readiness are preferred; travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; real estate license preferred.
• Notary public or ability to obtain within 30 days required.
• IRWA membership a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with land owners or designees.
• Settle damage claims related to construction with landowners.
• Search records to determine present ownership and interests.
• Assist in establishing fair market values for land and land rights.
• Prepare documents for rights of entry, damages, contracts, easements, leases, permits, options to purchase, and related documents.
• Comply with corporate health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
