ERM is hiring Land Agents to support electric transmission and distribution projects in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut. Land Agents will be responsible for the acquisition of land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits and other documents necessary for the construction, operation and maintenance of facilities.

This is a full-time (40 hours a week) limited-term role with a duration of 12 months, extendable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years of ROW experience preferred for transmission projects.
• Notary public or ability to obtain within 30 days required.
• Active real estate license preferred.
• IRWA membership a plus.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate with landowners to acquire land rights and permits.
• Settle damage claims related to construction with landowners.
• Search records to establish current ownership and interests.
• Suggest fair market values for land and rights acquisition.
• Prepare documents for rights of entry, leases, licenses, and easements.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
