Job summary

The 20 MSP is seeking a Regional Service Technician to blend hands-on hardware repair with strong communication to support workstations, devices, OS, software, and networks both onsite and remotely.

You will diagnose and resolve issues, install and configure software, perform backups, manage network tasks, and ensure system health. Candidate must have A+/Net+/Sec+ or equivalent, and drive to client sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware assembly, disassembly, and repair.
• Proficient with Windows OS installation, recovery, updates, and Office suite.
• Familiar with antivirus, security, and firewall technologies and recovery.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, file sharing, and server apps (Exchange, MS Server).
• Strong troubleshooting across OS, hardware, and network issues, including malware removal.
• Able to identify failed hardware components.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve issues involving workstations, devices, OS, software, hardware, and entry-level servers.
• Provide on-site and remote customer support with thorough documentation and follow-up.
• Prioritize tickets per SOPs and KBs to meet KPIs.
• Troubleshoot desktop problems, VPN connectivity, hardware failures, line-of-business apps, and basic server functions.
• Perform hardware repair, maintenance, and security tasks including cleaning and diagnostics.
• Handle physical networking tasks: run cables, install patch panels, set up racks/enclosures.
• Install, reinstall, repair, and configure software including OS, antivirus, and office suites.
• Back up data and perform system restores as needed.
• Test solutions, document work, and provide health recommendations.
