Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a capable IT Support Specialist to resolve hardware, OS, software, and networking issues for desktops, laptops, and servers. You will provide on-site and remote support, follow SOPs, document interactions, and contribute to system health through repairs, data backups, and preventive maintenance.

Candidates should be skilled at VPN connectivity, malware removal, Active Directory tasks, and ensuring KPI targets are met.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling, maintaining, and repairing hardware.
• Strong Windows OS knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with antivirus, security, and firewall technologies.
• Understanding of AD, Group Policy, file sharing, and server applications.
• Proven troubleshooting of OS, hardware, and network issues.
• Ability to diagnose failed hardware components.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues with workstations, mobile devices, OS, software, hardware, and entry‑level server support.
• Provide on-site and remote customer support with documentation and follow-up.
• Prioritize and resolve tickets according to SOPs, KPI goals.
• Troubleshoot desktop problems, VPN connectivity, hardware failures, and server functions.
• Perform hardware repair, maintenance, and security tasks.
• Execute physical networking tasks: cabling, patch panels, racks/ enclosures.
• Install, reinstall, repair, configure software including OS and antivirus.
• Back up data and perform system restores.
• Test solutions, document work, and advise on system health.
