Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an IT Field Support Technician to deliver hands-on desktop and device support across office and branch locations. You will image, deploy, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows and Mac devices, manage requests in Jira, and coordinate with vendors for branch refresh projects.

You’ll need 2+ years in IT support, familiarity with SCCM/Jamf, AD, and strong communication to ensure excellent user service. Hybrid, regional travel, and on-site/remote work are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support or endpoint support.
• Experience in Windows and Mac environments in business settings.
• Hands-on imaging, PXE boot, and endpoint deployments.
• Software installations and hardware upgrades.
• Experience with SCCM for software deployment and Jamf for Mac devices.
• Experience with Active Directory and basic server concepts.
• Proficient with Jira, ServiceNow or similar ticket systems and good documentation.
• Ability to manage workload independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop/laptop/mobile device support across multiple locations.
• Image, deploy, upgrade, relocate and troubleshoot Windows and Mac devices.
• Manage service requests and incidents via Jira with accurate documentation.
• Support branch technology refresh, endpoint upgrades and hardware deployments.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, peripherals, and connectivity onsite and remotely.
• Coordinate with vendors/partners for project-related activities.
• Maintain asset inventory and ensure proper equipment moves.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
