Job summary

ContiTech is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. You will develop new business, expand market share, and educate/distribute through authorized networks in industrial sectors.

You will train distributors and end users on product applications, manage accounts, and participate in trade shows. The role requires 50% travel, deep regional knowledge, and a drive to achieve annual growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field.
• 2+ years of sales experience; or 4+ years without degree.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with presenting to customers and conducting meetings.
• Experience training customers and end users.
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reside in the territory.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and stay overnight.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business partnerships with distributors and end users to grow revenue and profitability.
• Promote and sell engineered products and services through the distributor network.
• Train distributors and end users on new products and applications.
• Develop plans to meet with customers regularly and secure new business.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
• Utilize IT tools to manage territory activities and track performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and products.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays within the Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota region.
