Job summary

ContiTech North America, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. You will develop new business, expand market share, and support our Authorized Distributor Network in the industrial sector.

You will educate distributors and end-users on engineered products, train partners, and travel up to 50% to meet customers and attend trade shows, while using Salesforce and CRM tools to drive revenue and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant sales experience, or 4+ years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience conducting presentations and customer meetings.
• Experience training customers and end users.
• Ability to use and learn CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must reside within the territory.
• Willing to travel 50%+ with overnight stays.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
• Relocation expenses will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business partnerships with distributors and end-users to grow revenue and profitability.
• Promote and sell engineered products and services through the distributor network.
• Train distributors and end-users on new products and applications.
• Develop plans to meet with customers regularly and secure new business.
• Participate in industry trade shows to promote products and services.
• Use business IT tools to manage territory activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry standards.
• Survey equipment in manufacturing environments and offer value-added solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and data tools to drive performance.
• Travel up to 50% including overnights.
• Territory responsibility: Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
