Trane Technologies is hiring an Area Service Manager in Latham, NY. You will lead all activities for service repair, upgrades, service agreements and installation, coordinating with sales and supporting field technicians to meet customer needs and contracts.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC, 3+ years leading large teams, project management, and strong Microsoft applications skills. A valid driver’s license is mandatory; travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years managing large teams and coordinating work schedules.
• Project management skills to oversee startups and customer requests.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft applications.
• Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months.

Responsabilités

• P&L responsibility with monthly revenue forecasting and growth of service agreements.
• Budget control for overhead items such as fleet, uniforms, tools and safety equipment.
• Risk mitigation for service agreements and repairs work.
• Oversee service coordination to respond to customers and balance technician training.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance management and training programs.
• Develop employee skills in customer service, processes and technical areas.
• Ensure on-time invoicing, budget adherence and service utilization.
• Ensure safety, EH&S compliance and safe work practices.
• Travel to customer sites; may involve outdoor work and mechanical rooms.
• Company vehicle provided.
