Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead service, repairs, upgrades, and installation activities across a district. You will drive revenue growth through service agreements, coordinate field teams, and streamline operations to maximize customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC, 3+ years in people management, and strong project-management skills. Travel to customer sites is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field; able to oversee service operations and installations.
• 3+ years experience managing and coaching large teams and coordinating schedules.
• Proven project management skills for startups and customer requests.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft applications.
• Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean record for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead service, repair, and installation efforts with a focus on service agreements and revenue growth.
• Oversee budget controls and expenses vs targets for overhead items.
• Manage risk in service contracts and turnkey projects.
• Coordinate field service and training to balance technician skills and customer needs.
• Drive continuous improvement through performance management and training programs.
• Ensure safety compliance and safe work environment across sites.
