Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling Inc. is seeking a Regional HR Manager for South Florida and Gulf Coast operations. The role partners with the Market Area President and site leaders to implement people strategies, address workforce challenges, and support business goals across multiple locations.

You will lead investigations, performance management, onboarding, and engagement initiatives, while coaching field HR teams and ensuring consistent HR practices and compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, and HR business partnership.
• At least 2 years of experience leading or supervising HR professionals.
• Active SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted business partner to the Market Area President and operations leadership.
• Lead employee relations investigations, performance management, and corrective actions with fairness.
• Develop and coach HR Generalists to deliver field HR support.
• Analyze turnover and engagement to drive retention and improve workforce metrics.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies across all sites in the region.
