Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations to lead solid waste collection and recycling operations across South Florida. The role directs District Managers and regional leaders to improve productivity, safety, and financial results.

You will oversee fleet, labor, and regulatory compliance while partnering with executives to execute strategy, grow market share, and deliver strong P&L outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive leadership in solid waste, recycling, or similar field operations.
• 7+ years overseeing multiple operating locations or districts.
• Experience managing large frontline workforces and route-based operations.
• Direct responsibility for regional P&L, safety, and operations.
• Strong understanding of DOT and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across multiple collection and post-collection operations.
• Develop district managers and succession plans.
• Lead regional sales partnerships and growth initiatives.
• Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and financial performance across the region.
• Oversee procurement, capital investments, and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute company initiatives.
