Job summary

Coastal Waste & Recycling is seeking a Regional Vice President of Operations to lead multi-site solid waste collection and recycling across South Florida. This hands-on executive role directs District Managers, improves productivity, and drives safety and regional P&L results.

The successful candidate will build leadership, optimize asset utilization, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with regional leadership to execute strategy, growth, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in asset-intensive operations.
• 7+ years overseeing multiple locations or districts.
• Experience managing large frontline workforces and fleet operations.
• Direct responsibility for regional P&L, safety, productivity, and execution.
• Strong understanding of DOT, OSHA and fleet safety/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead District Managers and regional leaders to meet safety and service goals.
• Drive regional P&L, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and labor management.
• Set strategic priorities and ensure alignment with Coastal’s mission.
• Oversee collection operations, facilities, fleet maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop leadership depth and succession plans across the region.
• Partner with Sales to grow municipal partnerships and market share.
• Represent Coastal with municipalities, regulators, customers, and vendors.
