Job summary

Applegreen is seeking an HR Generalist to provide front-line HR support for 17 Travel Plazas across the Pennsylvania Region. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will handle employee relations investigations, coaching, staffing initiatives, compliance, and culture-building efforts.

This exempt, full-time role requires 3–5 years in HR, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, investigations, recruiting, and onboarding.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered.
Working knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA employment laws.
Experience with HRIS/ATS and ADP Workforce Now preferred.
Strong communication, mediation, and confidentiality skills.
Willingness to travel regionally; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Lead employee relations investigations and coaching; partner with the Regional HRBP.
Support full-cycle recruiting: postings, interviews, offers, onboarding.
Develop weekly tracking and monthly district reports; identify trends.
Ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions and documentation.
Promote onboarding consistency and effective new-hire experience.
