Job summary

Applegreen is seeking an HR Generalist to provide front-line HR support across 17 Travel Plazas in Pennsylvania. You will report to the HR Business Partner and lead employee relations investigations, coaching, staffing initiatives, and compliance activities to strengthen people standards.

The role emphasizes timely employee relations, onboarding, reporting, and collaboration with regional partners to deliver a positive, inclusive workplace across busy retail locations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations and investigations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HRIS/ADP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations investigations and coaching across 17 plazas.
• Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
• Maintain weekly tracking and monthly district reports.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Represent the Applegreen brand at regional hiring events.
