Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support 17 Travel Plazas across the Pennsylvania region. This exempt role reports to the HR Business Partner and leads employee relations investigations, coaching, staffing initiatives, compliance activities, and culture-building efforts.

A primary focus is timely, fair, and consistent HR practices. You will partner with regional leaders to strengthen people standards, automate processes, and deliver

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience including employee relations, investigations, recruiting, and onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
• Ability to mediate disputes and communicate clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; build relationships at all levels.
• Travel regularly within the region; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee relations investigations and advise on actions.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance, policy, and documentation.
• Maintain weekly tracking and monthly district reports.
• Support full-cycle recruiting, from posting to onboarding.
• Engage with regional hiring events and staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
