Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks an experienced HR Generalist to provide front-line HR support across the Pennsylvania region, including 17 Travel Plazas. You will handle employee relations, investigations, staffing initiatives, onboarding, and compliance while partnering with the Regional HR Business Partner.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience including employee relations, investigations, recruiting and onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• Working knowledge of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA, and ability to apply them.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to mediate conflicts and maintain objectivity in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee relations, investigations, and people-practice assessments for locations.
• Provide coaching to managers on performance management and policy application.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment: posting, screening, interviewing, hiring decisions, onboarding.
• Support onboarding experiences and partner with hiring managers for consistency.
• Monitor compliance and maintain reporting for district-level HR metrics.
• Assist with HR initiatives, events, and HR system improvements.
