Job summary

Patterson-UTI is seeking an HR Advisor to support regional operations and corporate HR. Responsibilities include recruitment/onboarding, employee relations, training, tracking, reporting, and improving HR systems.

The role reports to the HR Manager and requires strong communication, data analysis, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will build relationships across levels, handle job requisitions, onboarding, and HR reporting, and participate in HR-related projects and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Human Resources or Administrative Support.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with employees at all levels within the region and organization.
• Assists HR team in tracking employee assignments and facilitating transfers based on business needs.
• Runs and reconciles various reports from MS Excel and Oracle HCM on a daily basis.
• Submits employee status changes such as transfers, separations, promotions, etc. and maintains electronic files.
• Assist with developing and maintaining hiring forecasts.
• Coordinate the new hire on-boarding process, I-9 completion and new hire orientation.
• Provide various HR related reports to management such as hiring activity, EEO reporting, metrics and statistics.
• Assist with Reductions in Force and coordinate replacement employees with the appropriate Department.
• Conduct exit interviews and input data into the system as required.
• Partner with HR to assist with employee investigations.
• Administrative duties or other duties as assigned.
