Job summary

JES Holdings’s Fairway Management division is recruiting a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing properties in the United States. The role requires LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 expertise, with travel four days per week within the region.

You will lead property managers and staff, manage budgets and compliance, and drive occupancy and revenue across multiple sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of management experience within industry.
• Expert level knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, and Section 8 compliance.
• Budget planning experience with a large portfolio and ability to lead and mentor team members.
• Strong communication, financial, leadership and negotiation skills required.
• In-depth knowledge of property management practices within multi-family including proficiency in OneSite or RealPage.
• Willingness to travel regionally, minimum 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain property management strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Keep senior management apprised of key property, personnel and resident issues.
• Travel to sites within region a minimum of 4 days a week.
• Hire, train and supervise property managers and maintenance staff for properties in your portfolio.
• Perform performance appraisals for property management personnel in your portfolio.
• Assist with paperwork filing and meeting compliance deadlines.
• Conduct quarterly site visits for audits, inspections, and on-site support.
• Oversee finances and compliance, manage projects and ensure goals are met.
• Oversee leasing and marketing to maximize occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
• Provide leadership to on-site staff and conduct regular property inspections.
• Manage budgets, financial reports and forecasting for each property.
