Job summary

Occnet is seeking an LHC Coordinator to support local Homeless Coalition activities, attend meetings, and coordinate with agencies across the Balance of State. You will assist in strategic planning, communications, and HMIS-related tasks while ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation.

The role requires traveling extensively, working with diverse populations, and maintaining strong collaboration with service providers. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: HS diploma; 2–3 years’ poverty/housing assistance experience, or Bachelor’s with 2 years’ experience.
• Experience with homeless populations and domestic abuse survivors.
• Proficient in documentation and case files.

Responsibilities

• Attend BoS and LHC meetings in person or via Zoom.

• Assist Director with strategic planning and committee development.
• Update social media and website content.
• Assist with Coordinated Entry and HMIS duties.
• Training agencies in system usage.
• Maintain records of user agreements and confidentiality.
• Oversee PIT Count planning and training.
• Prepare NOFO materials.
• Coordinate CE Point of Contact agencies with updates.
• Other duties as assigned by System Analysis Director.
• Travel extensively across 46 counties.
