Job summary

NEKCA is seeking a Coordinator for the Housing and Homelessness Services Program in the Community Based Services Department. The role focuses on helping participants secure safe shelter and attain permanent housing, and requires strong collaboration with regional partners and program staff.

Responsibilities include intake and eligibility, data entry into HMIS, coordinating with housing partners, assisting in grant reporting, and providing support to program managers.

Qualifications

  • BA degree preferred; 1-2 years relevant experience; 3-4 years preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse community work.
  • Proficient in computer skills, spreadsheets, MS Office, and database management.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain data in HMIS accurately and timely.
  • Conduct CE intake and data entry as applicable.
  • Attend partner meetings and housing coalitions.
  • Meet clients in office and community settings.
  • Assist landlords and housing applications; support housing stability.
  • Assist in grant reporting and program guidance adherence.
  • Provide updates to the Program Manager/Coordinator II.
  • Participate in staff, agency, and community meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
