Job summary

Tri Pointe Homes Houston is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the field sales team, hire New Home Advisors, coach them to achieve sales targets, and optimize CRM usage (Salesforce) across communities. You will collaborate with brand/division management to forecast sales, run training sessions, and analyze market data to drive margin and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
College degree strongly preferred.
2-3 years experience in homebuilding leadership preferred.
Knowledge of new home sales, escrow, lending, and sales training.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proven ability to coach both high and low performers.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Actively monitors potential future sales personnel hires by visiting competitors’ sales offices and engaging candidates.
Interviews and hires New Home Advisors and New Home Associates/Assistants.
Ensures job expectations and performance goals are understood by team members.
Co-preps and co-leads sales meetings and training.
Owns Salesforce CRM processes and ensures engagement of field sales team.
Coaches team via instruction, role-playing, and performance improvement processes.
Recognizes top performers and addresses underperformance.
Visits competitor communities for competitive market analysis and reports to management.
Collaborates with community sales teams to determine forecasts and closing schedules.
